Position Summary
As a Senior CNO Engineer, you will design custom tooling and tailored capabilities to overcome government Cyber Capability Developer (CCD) limitations, directly accelerating the development, delivery, and deployment of critical mission assets. This high-impact role requires seamless context-switching and adaptability to address rapidly evolving operational priorities.
Role Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 3-5 years of specialized experience in CNO/cyber capability development
- Drives capability development to meet mission targets, overcoming developer limitations and directly accelerating delivery across the team and department
- Refines custom tooling, CNO systems, and development workflows to resolve technical bottlenecks and improve mission effectiveness
- Communicates and coordinates effectively with technical stakeholders, operational teams, and developers to align capabilities with evolving mission requirements
- Provides technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching to junior CNO engineers to foster technical growth and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Possesses broad knowledge of CNO principles, low-level systems architectures, reverse engineering, or protocol analysis gained through hands-on operational experience
Contract Specific Qualifications
- Possession of CISSP, OSCP, GREM, or GPEN is highly desirable.
- TS/SCI Clearance
- An innate drive to understand the inner workings of complex systems and resolve intricate technical challenges
- Critical precision required for successful exploit development and reverse engineering tasks
- Unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive mission tools and data
- Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams alongside operators, analysts, and fellow engineers
- Expertise in IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, WinDbg, x64dbg, and GDB
- Skilled in using Wireshark, Scapy, Nmap, and tcpdump for protocol analysis
- Familiarity with Metasploit, pwntools, QEMU, AFL, and various fuzzing platforms
- Proficient in Git, Make, CMake, and GCC/Clang cross-compilation suites
Salary Range: $110,000 - $263,000
