Areas of Responsibility

Content Publishing & Management

  • Publish marketing-supplied content via the CMS, ensuring pages are correctly built, formatted, and tagged before going live.

  • Manage the multi-market content publishing calendar, tracking what is live, scheduled, or due for updates.

  • Update existing content to reflect operational changes, seasonal campaigns, and commercial priorities.

  • Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, duplicated, or underperforming pages and prioritize remediation.

SEO & Organic Performance

  • Apply on-page SEO optimization to all content prior to publication (title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, alt text).

  • Use Google Search Console and GA4 to track organic performance, identifying pages that require refreshing or expanding.

  • Support keyword research and content gap analysis in collaboration with marketing.

  • Flag technical SEO issues to the engineering team where they fall outside content-level fixes.

CRO & Campaign Support

  • Work with the UX and CRO Manager to ensure campaign landing pages are structured and optimized for conversion.

  • Support A/B testing activity by preparing and publishing content variants, performing QA checks before tests go live.

  • Ensure all campaign content across sites is live, accurate, and consistent with wider campaign messaging throughout its lifecycle.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

  • Work on-site with the digital product team, contributing to sprint planning and flagging content-related dependencies or blockers.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between marketing and product for web publishing.

  • QA all content pre- and post-publication, checking for formatting errors, broken links, missing metadata, and brand consistency.

  • Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations teams prior to publishing regulated or operationally sensitive content.

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a web content, digital publishing, or SEO executive role with direct responsibility for managing content on live websites.

  • CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with a CMS platform (e.g., WordPress, Umbraco, Contentful, or similar), including page building, content structuring, and metadata management.

  • SEO Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of on-page SEO principles and a track record of applying them consistently.

  • Process Management: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a publishing pipeline across multiple sites and markets simultaneously.

  • Team Setup: Comfortable working on-site as part of a cross-functional digital team, coordinating with both marketing and product colleagues.
