This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace, refilling stock, general safety and learning the technical items of the trade.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
General warehouse operations.
Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse.
Perform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels.
Check in orders and stock all inventory items.
Trailer towing competency — Demonstrates skill in pulling, backing, and accurately placing trailers using company vehicles.
Stocking and delivering materials.
Keep shop organized and clean.
Maintain, clean, and organize all shop tools.
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Troubleshooting skills.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring.
Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc.
Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead.
