Summary
The Vehicle Maintenance Technician is a detail-oriented and dependable professional responsible for ensuring company vehicles are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This role performs monthly Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) on all company vehicles and coordinates necessary repairs with approved mechanics. The Vehicle Maintenance Technician follows all B&D policies and procedures while delivering consistent, high-quality service. Accuracy, reliability, and adherence to established regulations and standards are key measures of success in this role.

Responsibilities
· Travel to various jobsites and other locations using a company vehicle to inspect vehicles and perform maintenance-related tasks
· Conduct and document monthly DVIRs for all company vehicles using the company’s GPS tracking and inspection software
· Check fluid levels, inspect tires, and verify that insurance and registration are current and present in the vehicle
· Perform basic onsite vehicle maintenance, including but not limited to replacing wiper blades and topping off fluids
· Transport vehicles in need of maintenance or repairs to preferred and approved mechanical service providers and return vehicles to drivers upon completion
· Utilize computers, smartphones, company software platforms, and other tools effectively to complete job duties
· Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
· Meet the physical demands of the role, including extended periods of sitting or standing, walking, lifting, pulling/pushing, and climbing
· Apply strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address vehicle maintenance needs
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may vary based on business needs
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Relevant work experience may substitute for schooling
