The Opportunity:


As an Infrastructure Platforms Administrator on the Platforms & Management Technologies team, you will support the administration of enterprise Active Directory and DNS services across a STIG-compliant, multi-site DoD environment. Your core work centers on AD account and group management, DNS troubleshooting, and working the ServiceNow ticket queue to resolve issues affecting the environment. This role is foundational within the team and is designed to build the skills needed to grow into broader cross-platform responsibility over time, including exposure to PKI and endpoint management areas as you develop. You will work under the guidance of senior administrators and the Platforms Lead, with structured mentorship built into your daily work. As part of a documentation-focused team, you will be expected to closely follow and review existing runbooks and change documentation, and to flag gaps or inaccuracies as you encounter them.

Responsibilities:


•            Active Directory Administration: Support Active Directory operations including user and group management, basic security configurations, and account troubleshooting under senior guidance.
•            DNS & DHCP Support: Support administration and troubleshooting of AD-integrated & Infoblox integrated DNS & DHCP services, including basic zone management and record troubleshooting.
•            Ticket Queue Management: Work assigned tickets through the ServiceNow queue, prioritizing based on guidance from senior team members and documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately.
•            System Security: Support STIG remediation efforts and basic vulnerability assessment activities as directed.
•            Documentation Review: Follow existing runbooks and change documentation closely when executing tasks. Flag outdated or inaccurate documentation to senior team members for correction.
•            Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor assigned systems for performance issues and support troubleshooting efforts under senior guidance.
•            Cross-Platform Exposure: Gain foundational exposure to adjacent platform areas including PKI/Certificate Services and endpoint management (MECM) through shadowing and assigned support tasks, as a building block toward broader responsibility.
•            Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members, other IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems and services.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a professional manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts. This role is well suited to someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in enterprise ideity and infrastructure administration under the mentorship of senior engineers, with a clear growth path toward broader cross-platform responsibility over time.


Required Qualifications:

**Secret Clerance with ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/TSCI Security Clerance**

•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR relevant experience qualifying under TESA.

•            Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Windows systems or infrastructure administration, including foundational knowledge of Active Directory and DNS.
•            Familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms for ticket management.
•            Basic scripting skills in PowerShell.
•            Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
•            Willingness to work within a STIG-compliant environment and learn DISA security baseline requirements.
•            CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification with the ability to obtain an IAT Level III certification within a defined scope period.•           
•            Ability to work OCONUS at a U.S. military installation in Stuttgart, Germany.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,700 - 173,900 USD
