We are seeking an Associate Manager Indirect Category Management Procurement to join our Global Procurement team, supporting our Indirect Procurement categories in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will support category strategy development, sourcing activities, supplier evaluation, spend analysis, and category management enablement while collaborating with category teams, data and analytics teams, partners, and suppliers. Discover your role:
Support the definition and implementation of indirect category strategies across Information Technology, Professional Services, Human Resources Services, and Travel & Meetings categories.
Support category teams in developing and implementing category strategies through market analysis, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk management activities.
Maintain standardized category management templates, strategy decks, stage gate presentations, and repository materials to drive consistency across category teams.
Partner with data and analytics teams to employ internal and external data sources to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights.
Facilitate sourcing activities by supporting Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes, including response collection and analysis.
Summarize sourcing and supplier relationship management outcomes through comparative analysis of supplier responses, pricing, and evaluations.
Maintain category plans, opportunity analyses, presentations, supplier relationship management materials, and other category documentation within the central repository.
You bring a collaborative and improvement-focused attitude while supporting compliance activities, audit requests, procurement process enhancements, and category development initiatives.
This role requires:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and progressive experience in procurement; experience within Pharma or BioPharma preferred.
Strong knowledge of category management principles, including sourcing, procurement, planning, supplier interactions, and negotiations.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle.
Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms including Oracle, Zycus, Sievo, GEP, Ariba, or similar platforms preferred.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication, presentations, and data analysis.
Experience with spend analytics software preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present effectively to customers.
