What this opportunity involves:
As an ambassador at Ripple your primary goal is to positively impact the care and comfort of Ripples people (‘Ripplers’) and guests. You will engage with Ripplers and build strong working relationships. You will learn to understand their wants and needs in order they feel valued, looked after and are able to work in an inclusive and productive environment.
This role will be best suited to an individual that not only has strong experiences in this field but one that is comfortable working independently. You will, however, be part of a wider global team that you can draw experience from but you will need to be a self starter, be able to think on your feet and demonstrate your experience through actions in a small but diverse workplace.
This is an exciting time for Ripple and you will bring your expertise to bear. You will use your skills in change management (and acquire new ones) to enable the successful opening and running of this space and helping Ripplers adopt new Ways of Working
Key Responsibilities include:
You are the ‘Go-To’ person for all questions and requests, supporting Ripplers with even the smallest task. You will be expected to carry out a large range of tasks throughout the day/week/month:
- Ensure Ripplers feel welcome. Their needs are taken care of in a fun, friendly and professional manner at all times
- Utilises technology to assist in room booking, reserving amenities, guest arrival and any other need a Rippler may have throughout their day
- Ensuring a presentable and inviting workplace
- Dealing with guests and colleagues enquiries
- Providing soft first line of support for IT/AV etc.
- Support planned and pop-up events across the building
- Create opportunities to provide surprise & delight to Ripplers in your workplace
- Be knowledgeable about site/neighbourhood specific wellbeing information and resources
- Ensuring the meeting rooms are set-up within their area and kept clean and tidy after each use
- Work with the building management team to report and manage all building related issues
- Be the point of contact for all vendors for delivery of planned and reactive works, office consumables and parcels
- Support with the Onboarding and Offboarding of Ripplers and Contractors
- Produce a monthly Newsletter and Weekly update
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated running a small office or number of floors in a corporate setting
- Experience in vendor management
- Ideally conducted office moves or worked in a team that has overseen this
- Comfortable working independently
- Knowledge of basic facilities management is expected
