The refrigeration technician is responsible for operation, inspection, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems in a Frozen Food Manufacturing Environment in accordance with IIAR and RETA standards, state and local building codes, and required safety regulations., while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position.  
• Must have 6 months of hands-on experience in ammonia refrigeration  and graduation from a hands-on Ammonia training program or the Minimum 12 months Ammonia Refrigeration work experience. 

Position work schedule is: Friday 11pm-5am, Saturday 5pm-5am, Sunday 5pm-5am, and Monday 5pm-5am (12 hours shift).

 

In order to be eligible for consideration for the transfer the interested TMs must meet the following criteria:  

• There has to be a position need
• TM must  be with the company for at least  6 months
• TMs attendance equal to or less than 4 points
• No Written Warnings with suspension within the 6 months before the transfer request
