This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.
The Associate, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for supporting efficient warehouse and distribution center operations through clerical tasks, inventory management, and shipment coordination at the North Manufacturing site in Fort Worth, TX.
Specifics include:
- Perform business support or clerical tasks according to procedures to enhance warehouse and distribution center efficiency
- Must be able to work at the manufacturing dock and the warehouse
- Assist in optimizing storage space and material flows for safety and efficiency
- Support inbound and outbound logistics activities, including managing inventory and coordinating shipments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority
- All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
- Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations
What You'll Bring to Alcon
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work Schedule: 3rd Shift – Monday - Friday 10:30pm – 7:00am (30-minute lunch)
- Work Location: Onsite – Fort Worth, TX
- Travel: 0%
