Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Easley, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
