TITLE Student Annual Giving Analytics Assistant

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Student Worker will support the Annual Giving team by analyzing alumni and donor data, creating reports, and identifying trends and opportunities to strengthen alumni engagement and giving. This role offers hands-on experience using data to inform real-world fundraising, marketing, business, and engagement strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Analyze alumni and donor data to identify giving trends, engagement patterns, and opportunities for increased alumni participation.
Create and maintain Excel reports that track donor participation, giving activity, campaign performance, and progress toward annual giving goals.
Organize and segment alumni and donor lists based on giving history, engagement, donor characteristics, and other relevant data points.
Support the Annual Giving team with data requests, research, special projects, and donor pipeline analysis.
Turn data into clear reports, presentations, donor lists, and insights that help inform outreach, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
Analyze campaign results, participation rates, giving patterns, and year-over-year trends to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Review alumni giving history to identify donors who may be approaching the next giving level, milestone, or opportunity for increased annual or cumulative giving.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when working with alumni and donor information.
Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Current Babson student with an interest in data, analytics, business, marketing, fundraising, or a related field.
Comfort working with Excel or interest in developing Excel skills, including reporting, data organization, and basic analysis.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in using data to support engagement and fundraising strategies.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with Annual Giving team members.
Ability to handle confidential alumni and donor information with discretion.
Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Drive/Docs and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Calendar).
HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
This position will work in collaboration with the Annual Giving team. Work schedule, location, and modality will be determined by the supervisor based on departmental needs and student availability.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, presentations, or donor/alumni segmentation.
Interest in fundraising, alumni engagement, marketing analytics, campaign performance, or nonprofit advancement.
