Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to report activity and assist employees, visitors, and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
