Sentara Neurology Specialists are seeking to hire a Medical Assistant!

*Offering up to a $5,000 Sign on Bonus to eligible candidate!*

Position Status: Full-time, Days

Position Location: Norfolk, VA

Overview

Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

• One year of Clinical/Administrative experience required.
