Where You Will Work:

Levine Children's Jeff Gordon Children’s Center is a 28-bed pediatric unit located at Atrium Health Cabarrus, caring for patients from infancy through 17 years of age. We are a general pediatric unit with the capability to provide high-acuity progressive care, giving nurses the opportunity to gain broad clinical experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

LCH-JGCC is proud to house the only dedicated pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit in the Advocate Health Enterprise. Our 8-bed unit is nationally accredited as a Level 3 NAEC (National Association of Epilepsy Centers) facility, delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to children with complex seizure disorders.

Beyond inpatient services, our unit features a specialized outpatient area that enhances continuity of care. This space supports:

• Non-oncologic infusions

• Specialized vaccine administration (e.g., rabies, tetanus)

• Endocrinology testing

• Lab draws and weight checks for discharged newborns

This extension of care allows our team to follow up with some of our youngest patients and provide critical treatments in a comfortable, family-centered setting.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
