Purpose of the role
To take responsibility for end-to-end local Platform management including – strategy design & execution, scalable and stable platform for client & colleagues, regulatory risk mitigation & management, platform development.
Accountabilities
- Business ownership of system, processes & procedures on the platform and end to end client journey management, oversight, business continuity & service recovery.
- Management, understanding and interpretation of local & group regulatory requirements & standards.
- Driving Platform strategy and change agenda, seeking innovative solutions to differentiate, streamline and de-risk the platform to directly contribute to client experience, Banker efficiency and managing / reducing regulatory risk.
- Using KPIs and data to monitor and measure of the platform effectiveness and change improvements.
- Managing, reporting and representing the platform performance at relevant governance fora.
- External (where required) and internal stakeholder management including regulators, senior leaders, client facing colleagues and infrastructure partners.
- Provision of guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality.

- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of how the function integrates with the business division / Group to achieve the overall business objectives.
- Maintain broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within own discipline alongside up-to-date relevant sector / functional knowledge, and insight into external market developments / initiatives.
- Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in often complex/ sensitive situations.
- Exercise management authority to make significant decisions and certain strategic decisions or recommendations within own area.
- Negotiate with and influence stakeholders at a senior level both internally and externally.
- Act as principal contact point for key clients and counterparts in other functions/ businesses divisions.
- Mandated as a spokesperson for the function and business division.

Front Office Tribe Lead
- Lead the evolution of the strategic colleague desktop and productivity ecosystem, creating a seamless experience that enables colleagues to serve clients more effectively.
- Drive simplification, workflow optimisation, AI enablement and operational efficiency across the end-to-end colleague experience.
- Define and own the strategic vision, roadmap and outcomes for the tribe, ensuring investment is aligned to measurable business, colleague and client value.
- Lead a multidisciplinary organisation spanning Product, Design, Engineering, Data and Delivery, creating an environment where empowered teams can deliver continuously and at pace.
- Drive end-to-end transformation initiatives, translating complex business priorities into scalable products, journeys and capabilities that improve colleague and client experiences.
- Build strong partnerships with senior business, technology and operations stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies and deliver sustainable outcomes across the wider PBWM ecosystem.
- Champion modern product and agile ways of working, fostering a culture of experimentation, evidence-based decision making, continuous improvement and accountability for outcomes.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience leading the design, build or transformation of colleague-facing platforms, tools, workflows or digital workplaces that improve productivity, efficiency and service outcomes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end operational journeys, process optimisation and workflow orchestration, with a track record of simplifying complex colleague experiences across multiple functions.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, data and digital technologies to remove friction, reduce manual effort and enable smarter colleague decision-making.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale change programmes involving multiple products, teams and technology platforms, with significant dependency management and stakeholder complexity.
- Familiarity with Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Services or other highly regulated industries where balancing innovation, risk and control is critical.
- Appreciation of human-centred design and customer-centric delivery approaches, with a focus on solving genuine user problems.
