60% Monitoring & Evaluation
- Design and develop the project M&E plan and administer M&E databases to ensure comprehensive tracking of project progress. Coordinate with and support implementing partner (IP) to ensure their M&D plan, processes and IM are in place as well.
- Design and implement effective M&E tools and methodologies that capture both quantitative and qualitative data, aligned with target indicators and reporting requirements. Be available to provide review and support to IP M&E of tools, methodologies as well.
- Ensure proper and consistent use of M&E tools by data collectors and WV staff (if needed) through training and regular oversight.
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources (e.g., baseline/endline surveys, pre/post-tests, evaluations, observation tools).
- Lead and participate in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), analyzing findings to inform indicator achievement and decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and infographics to clearly communicate data and findings using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and most specifically Excel for the project.
- Attend and monitor project activities (e.g., training sessions, catch-up classes) to integrate evidence-based approaches into project adaptation and improvement – for both WV implemented activities, and for IP implemented activities to provide IP M&E coaching/support.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits, identifying gaps, sharing findings with the project team, and documenting actions for continuous improvement (WV implemented activities, and coaching/support visits to IP activities as required).
- Ensure ethical standards in data collection and recording processes.
- Track project progress against indicators, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant data.
- Collaborate with partners to provide technical M&E support, monitor their implementation, and assist in developing M&E tools as needed.
- Review and verify partner-generated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project M&E requirements, and provide technical support for data analysis and interpretation when required.
- Lead and support data analysis processes, transforming monitoring, assessment, and evaluation findings into actionable insights to inform programmatic decision-making and adaptive management.
- Develop high-quality data visualization products, including dashboards, infographics, factsheets, presentations, and analytical reports, to effectively communicate project achievements, outcomes, and learning.
- Compile observations, lessons learned, and findings, providing feedback to the project manager and team to inform future project design and planning.
- Prepare periodic M&E reports, including impact assessments, and present findings and recommendations to the project team.
- Carry out other tasks as requested by the Project Manager.

Communications
- Develop all project communication products requested by donors, such as photo essays, success stories, and videos, ensuring they comply with donor regulations and policies.
- Document M&E activities through photos and videos for reporting and communication purposes.
- Create communication and educational materials (e.g., flyers, presentations) based on project data and analysis.
- Support the design and implementation of evidence-based advocacy and communication initiatives by generating data-driven products, key messages, success stories, and analytical briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Fulfill content requests made by the Communications Specialist.

Data Entry & Information Management
- Serve as the data entry focal point for grant management tools (Ex. Grant Health Tracker, online project database Horizon).
- Enter all videos and photos with accompanying stories into Story Hub.
- Develop and maintain project databases, ensuring they are fully functional, user-friendly, and easily accessible to the project team and relevant staff.
- Support monthly SitRep and Situation Briefing products, including humanitarian beneficiary reach data entry and tracking.
- Support humanitarian coordination related data entry, such as 5Ws to support coordination with Education and other humanitarian partners.
Knowledge & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or other related fields with a strong M&E component. A master’s degree is a plus.
2. Previous experience in humanitarian MEAL, monitoring projects or data entry.
3. Good command of spoken and written English.
4. Excellent understanding and experience with Excel.
