The role of the Distribution Beverage Specialist is to manage the local third-party company relationships, acquire new foodservice accounts, and achieve foodservice sales volume and profitability goals for assigned territory.
The Distribution Beverage Specialist will be responsible for the sales of PepsiCo products to existing and new local and local chain food service accounts (delis, restaurants, B&I, food trucks, etc.) in a pre-determined territory. This person will have the responsibility of activating local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
This specific role will be based out of Maumelle, AR or Collierville, TN and be responsible for the entirety of the Arkansas/Delta Market.
Responsibilities
- Achieving new account & whitespace penetration goal
- Conduct minimum of 68 calls per week
- Successful candidates will drive volume, revenue and paint the town Pepsi Blue
- Define customer needs by understanding business priorities, business model, customers, and competitor performance in accounts
- Demonstrate follow-up skills by visiting and tracking customer’s progress and results in customer record management systems
- Establishes effective account planning, demonstrate passion for winning in marketplace
- Develop customer intimacy and serve as a consultant on category, cultivating strong relationships, and providing superior customer service
- Own Senior Level wiring and building strong relationships with leadership team
- Responsible for the sell-in of the full PepsiCo beverage portfolio including but not limited to annual key innovation & item priorities
- Secure local alignment on key sales promotions and initiatives that are developed for national rollout
- Manage or co-manage distributor food shows, general sales meetings, district sales meetings, vendor fairs
- Proactively share best practices and ideas throughout PepsiCo
- Become an expert on the product portfolio communicating product attributes, and benefits to key decision makers
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
- Location confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and math skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
- Must have a valid and active Driver's License
- Must be based in or very near the territory the role is responsible for
