Description

About Us

From commercial office space and manufacturing to multi-site retail portfolios, we manage and support over 1 billion square feet of facilities space for the nation’s leading organizations. We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager to support and enhance asset performance, maintenance strategies, processes and best practices within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. This role contributes strategically to reliability and continuous improvement efforts by applying data analytics, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and key elements of reliability engineering such as failure analysis, asset criticality assessment, and maintenance optimization to drive efficiencies and savings.

The Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager collaborates with the account team to establish priorities, initiatives and goals while working with the Corporate Reliability team to ensure compliance with EMCOR standards, processes and best practices associated with asset health, asset performance data, maintenance specifications and PM standards, maintenance processes, staffing level analysis, and Cap Ex planning based on asset condition assessments and historical performance and criticality.  The Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager will identify and recommend and execute actionable improvements. While not responsible for enterprise-level program leadership, the role may independently lead internal account-level projects that target improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, enhanced and more efficient facility operations, driving towards a lower total cost of ownership (Savings). This position is ideal for an engineer looking to apply both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a collaborative, performance-driven setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Reliability Metrics & Data Analysis

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Alignment

Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure alignment with account and client goals including implementation of Moring Daily Planning Meetings (MDP), Work Order Audit Process, Weekly Planning Strategy and any other Maintenance Processes to drive efficiencies and improved communication and performance.

Reliability Leadership & Compliance

Lead reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce reactive maintenance, and enhance operational performance and efficiencies. Support audits and compliance efforts by ensuring procedures, documentation, and data meet internal and client standards.

Maintenance Strategy & Root Cause Analysis

Support maintenance strategy reviews and optimization efforts to align with industry best practices. Assist in root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures. Conduct failure mode analyses and contribute to asset condition and criticality assessments to guide maintenance priorities.

Capital Planning & Cost Optimization

Support capital planning with data-driven insights on asset condition, lifecycle risk, and performance trends, applying maintenance expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize investment decisions.

Additional Responsibilities & Operational Support

Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Account and CI&R leadership.
