Your tasks

•    HSE Culture & Leadership: Develop, promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture across the plant, leading by example with a strong field presence.

•    Chemical Process Safety: Oversee safe handling, storage and use of chemical materials, ensuring robust process safety practices in surface treatment and coating removal operations.

•    Compliance & Certification: Act as the site's Occupational Safety Specialist, ensuring compliance with Turkish occupational health and safety legislation and all relevant permits and industry standards.

•    Risk Assessment: Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or mitigate risks.

•    Training & Awareness: Design and deliver HSE training programs, drills and awareness initiatives to build safe working habits among plant staff.

•    Incident Management: Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement of safety performance.

•    Hazardous Waste & Process Hazards: Manage hazardous waste disposal and control thermal and mechanical stripping hazards, ensuring daily plant operations comply with occupational health and environmental protection regulations.

•    Field Presence: Maintain a strong, hands-on presence on the shop floor, working closely with production and maintenance teams to embed safety in daily operations.

Your profile

•    5+ years of experience in manufacturing, metal, chemical or surface treatment industries.

•    Strong knowledge of Chemical Process Safety.

•    Valid Occupational Safety Specialist certification, C-Class or higher.

•    Fluent in English, with strong cross-cultural communication skills for an international working environment.

•    Leadership skills to develop and maintain a strong HSE culture.

•    Strong field presence and hands-on approach.
