Delta One Trader - Principal Trading (Associate/VP)
We are seeking a highly motivated Delta One Trader to join our Equities Trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading and risk-managing Delta One products, including equity swaps, ETFs, futures, and other listed and OTC instruments. This role requires strong market knowledge, risk management discipline, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and trade Delta One products, including equity swaps, ETFs, and futures, across relevant markets
Monitor and hedge trading positions to maintain appropriate risk exposure
Optimize financing, funding, and inventory management to enhance trading profitability
Provide competitive pricing and execution for clients, including institutional investors and internal desks
Collaborate with Sales, Structuring, and Prime Brokerage teams to support client activity and generate ideas
Identify arbitrage opportunities across cash equities, derivatives, and ETF markets
Track market developments, flows, and liquidity conditions to inform trading strategies
Ensure compliance with internal risk limits, regulatory requirements, and trading controls
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
Relevant experience in Delta One trading, equity derivatives, or related markets
Strong understanding of financial instruments including swaps, futures, and ETFs
Solid quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to make decisions under pressure in a fast-moving market environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
