Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-TAV to join our team at Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of logistics operations within a dynamic automotive supplier environment. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient material flow.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities.
* Support inventory management, including stock checks, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
* Participate in the monitoring and analysis of logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, freight forwarders).
* Learn and apply Valeo's logistics standards, processes, and tools.
* Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.
* Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and reports.
* Support the optimization of transportation routes and modes.
* Assist in managing customs procedures and import/export documentation.
* Participate in special logistics projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
* For VIE-TAV candidates: Eligibility requirements for the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program.
