The opportunity
To lead the team of field services engineers and technicians for high voltage and transformers and GI service jobs under PGSV portfolio. Team building and maintaining team morale contributes to team motivation and job satisfaction. Close Assign, monitor, control and supervise service activities for maintenance, repair, installation testing and commissioning of various high voltage products, transformers, OLTC, protection and control system of sub-station and grids stations. Prepare and develop the plans for FSE utilization, site assignments, and movements from base station or from one site to another projects. Prepare and coordinate FSE development plans, training, certifications and re-certification including site assessments as and when required. Guide and support the FSE, technical assistance and provide necessary support under critical situations or emergency jobs. Should have strong technical skills in different products covered under PGSV service portfolio.
How you’ll make an impact
- Work closely with the Field Service Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the field service team.
- Assign, coordinate, and monitor field service activities and engineers executing site work across various projects.
- Prepare and monitor FSE resource plans and utilization with the manager to balance availability, target backlogs, and business demands.
- Participate in or lead weekly resource allocation meetings with the Project Management team.
- Review the FSE skill matrix to ensure the right engineer is assigned to the right project or service task.
- Demonstrate exemplary professional behavior, a positive personal attitude, and high technical standards.
- Seek management support and guidance proactively when complex situations arise.
- Coordinate FSE deployments and manage workflows for mobilization and travel plans.
- Partner with Project Managers to forecast upcoming project needs and secure necessary manpower.
- Build strong relationships with customers during service execution to convert working relationships into long-term business partnerships.
- Identify and promote service sales opportunities with customers during site visits to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with Safety Advisors to ensure FSE compliance and maintain a zero-incident on sites.
- Support the team in utilizing safety tools, reporting hazards, and logging safety events in the system.
- Assign and monitor all required team training regarding safety, integrity, quality, and the company code of conduct.
- Encourage the team to actively participate in company-organized safety and quality initiatives.
- Immediately report any misconduct or unsafe activities by team members or contractors to upper management.
- Create and execute FSE development plans covering technical skills, soft skills, and product certifications.
- Provide hands-on technical coaching to the team and arrange technical discussions with OEM when product clarifications are needed.
- Establish team goals aligned with business KPIs, driving discussions during annual GPM cycle.
- Lead motivational activities and assess team engagement through regular feedback and Survey action plans
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven 6 to 10 years technical and Leadership experience within HV products, transformers, protection and control system.
- Project management and site management background are preferred.
- Management education or certifications is preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written in English & Arabic language is required.
