Salary Range: **$165,000 to $195,000 per year
** Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.
Join WOOD Federal Solutions in a hands-on systems role supporting mission-critical IT environments where reliability, performance, and rapid problem resolution matter every day. In this position, you’ll help keep complex infrastructure running across client, server, storage, network, virtual, and mobile environments while serving as a key escalation point for challenging technical issues. You’ll work across Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms, troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 problems, configure virtual and storage environments, and help strengthen the stability and performance of the systems our customers depend on.

Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- Provide support to IT systems including day‐to‐day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
- Provide in‐depth experience in trouble‐shooting IT systems
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
Qualifications
Required Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required and ten (10) years' experience as a SA.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Must have SQL and Active Directory experience
Preferred Database Experience
- Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of database, Administer, maintain, and Implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)
- Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes
- Establish and maintain database user accounts
- Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data
- Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)
- Evaluate requirements and recommends available DBMS products
- Perform database and software life‐cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability
- Provide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE
