In this position...

The On-Road Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of Ford's most iconic nameplates for the Ford Racing specific variants. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy and brand storytelling driving input into cycle planning, product concepting, pricing and volume decisions, and go-to-market positioning, while leading the marketing campaigns that bring the Ford Racing Mustang story and other on-road products to life. You'll work closely with the Ford Blue Product Marketing Team, Mustang Brand Manager, Ford Blue Communications, and cross-functional product teams to ensure Mustang's marketing strategy stays as bold and competitive as the car itself.

What you'll do...

  • Provide marketing input and support to the cycle planning process, including product concepting and content development for future Mustang programs
  • Support pricing and volume strategy, competitive set analysis, and target customer selection to inform product and market positioning
  • Contribute to the market equation, nomenclature, and branding decisions that define how Mustang shows up in the marketplace
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns that elevate the Mustang brand across all channels
  • Partner closely with Communications and the Mustang Brand Manager to ensure consistent, compelling storytelling from product concept through launch, and ensuring the Ford Racing narrative is clearly expressed

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, or a related field within the automotive or performance vehicle industry
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to cycle planning, product positioning, or go-to-market strategy
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, competitive analysis, and marketing campaign development
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, communications, and brand teams
  • Excellent project management experience

  • Experience with pricing/volume strategy or market equation analysis in an automotive context
  • Track record of leading integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution

  • Experience managing agency partners in support of campaign development

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
