Front-End Web Developer

Job Summary:   

Design, develop, and optimize customer-facing web experiences across our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless, responsive, and user-friendly experience. You'll collaborate with marketing, UX, and business stakeholders to enhance website performance, product discovery, navigation, accessibility, and visual consistency while driving engagement and supporting business growth.  

Job Details:

• Location: Jefferson Hills, PA (South of Pittsburgh, PA) 
• Division/Department: Corporate/Marketing   
• Reports to: Global Digital Marketing Manager  

Responsibilities: 

• Develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable customer-facing website features across lesker.com and related digital platforms  
• Design and implement page layouts, landing pages, navigation improvements, product discovery experiences, and front-end enhancements that support customer goals and business objectives 
• Build and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or similar front-end technologies 
• Improve website usability, visual consistency, accessibility, search/product discovery interfaces, and front-end performance.  
• Troubleshoot and resolve browser compatibility, layout, styling, responsive behavior, and user-facing website issues 
• Partner with Marketing, Product Management, IT, Shared Services, and web team members to clarify requirements and deliver customer-facing improvements 
• Support structured testing and validation before release, including cross-browser checks and user-flow review
• Document and maintain front-end patterns, reusable components, and development practices to support scalable and maintainable website solutions. 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

Required 

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Web Design, MIS, IST, or a related field, or equivalent work experience  
• 3+ years of front-end web development experience 
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility 
• Experience with React, Node.js or a similar modern JavaScript front-end framework 
• Experience using Git or comparable source control preferred  
• Strong debugging, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills 

Preferred 

• Experience supporting B2B, ecommerce, manufacturing, technical, or scientific websites  
• Experience with search interfaces, filtering UX, product finders, configurators, or selection guides  
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO principles, website analytics, and UX/UI best practices 
• Familiarity with Git, APIs, and collaborative software development practices
