Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technical Support Lead to join our team and support our client in the Columbia, MD area.
As an IT Operations specialist, you will oversee the management and security of complex IT environments, ensuring the seamless operation of Linux systems and cloud-based infrastructures.
What you’ll be doing:
- Implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures, including the deployment and monitoring of network-based Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
- Hands-on work with virtualization technologies and the architecture of both cloud and data center environments
- Managing and optimizing resources across platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Streamline processes and enhance system reliability
- Integrate security and operational best practices into continuous deployment workflows
- Ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all IT operations
What you’ll need:
- 3 years of experience in general IT, cybersecurity, CNO software or security research
- 3 years of experience managing Linux Systems
- Experience with networking (e.g.: TCP/IP, virtualization, cloud/data center architecture)
- Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g.: PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, BASH, etc.)
- Experience with Service desk tools (e.g.: JIRA, Redmine, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Experience with knowledge management system (e.g.: Confluence, GitLab, etc.)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or Higher
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with DevOps pipeline tools (e.g.: Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)
- Experience working in cloud environments
- Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework Processes
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and a willingness to sit for a polygraph
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $103,200—$196,400 USD
