Senior Investment Analyst - Co-Investments

Job Summary 

We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst with more than two years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, asset management, or related investing roles to join the Co-Investments team at Texas PSF Corporation. 

In this role, you will help evaluate and execute direct investment opportunities alongside leading sponsors and investment partners. Responsibilities include conducting detailed company and industry due diligence, building and analyzing financial models, supporting transaction underwriting, and monitoring portfolio investments. This role offers significant exposure to direct investing across industries and close collaboration with internal investment professionals and external partners. 

What You'll Do 

Investment Due Diligence & Portfolio Support 

• Support due diligence processes by evaluating investment opportunities, conducting company and industry research, maintaining deal flow tracking, and drafting investment memoranda and internal materials 

• Monitor and assess existing portfolio investments, including company performance, valuation developments, and key risk factors 

• Evaluate new co-investment opportunities alongside senior investment personnel, including business quality, transaction structure, and return potential 

• Assist senior investment personnel with transaction execution, portfolio management, and program administration 

Market & Investment Research 

• Analyze industries, companies, and market trends to identify attractive investment opportunities and risks 

• Conduct macroeconomic, sector, and competitive research to support underwriting and investment decisions 

Financial Analysis & Modeling 

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, including operating forecasts, valuation analyses, capital structures, and return scenarios 

• Perform company, industry, and transaction analysis to support investment recommendations and portfolio management activities 

Operations & Administrative Support 

• Provide general support to the team on a day-to-day basis 

• Maintain thorough records related to portfolio investments, due diligence activities, and transaction documentation 

What We're Looking For 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 

• Over 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, asset management, endowment investing, or other investing roles 

• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills 

• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, transaction structures, and capital structures 

• Proficiency with Bloomberg, PitchBook or Power BI 

Preferred but Not Required 

• Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or equivalent finance certifications 

• PowerPoint and presentation skills 

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and market dynamics 

• Awareness of economic indicators and market trends 

Travel/Schedule Requirements 

• Domestic travel up to 10% 

• Hybrid work schedule 

• Ability to work and travel outside normal business hours
