Maintenance Tech
The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for performing a combination of preventive and ongoing maintenance of all RSL facilities and other assets as well as administrative tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Performs routine maintenance on all group homes and office facilities, appliances, and furnishings.
- Monitors and arranges for repairs to group homes and office as required.
- Assists in the performance of routine maintenance checks on all RSL vehicles.
- Helps keep grounds of assigned facilities and office.
- Performs emergency repairs.
- Makes self-available to assist during emergencies.
- Assists with transportation of staff during snowstorms.
- Shares on-call rotation with other maintenance/operations personnel. Performs data entry to update and keep current all maintenance files.
- As requested, schedules appointments with vendors for vehicle and facilities inspections and maintenance as assigned.
- Produces daily work order lists for maintenance personnel, monitors, and follows up to assure that assignments are completed to required standards.
- Uses computer efficiently to accomplish most tasks.
- Types and files records and other data for the maintenance department.
- Assists with maintaining and distributing office supplies and supply requisition system.
The Position Requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license of at least 3 years' duration
- Clean criminal background and MVR check
Full-time position is available.
