Ortho Access walk-in clinics provide same day care for orthopedic injuries. Comprehensive care offered all in one place enables physicians, therapists and staff to work closely together, so that patients and families achieve better outcomes. Collaborative care is also more efficient. In many cases, IBJI services are substantially less expensive than those provided by large healthcare systems and emergency rooms.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate equipment for imaging and anything related on various areas of the body in order to provide high quality images and information for patient diagnosis.
- Address patient concerns during the procedures, and explain the MRI process to the patient in a way that is informative but also reassuring.
- Use tact, courtesy and poise when dealing with patients, keeping them calm and ensuring that they get the best care possible.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and other health care professionals.
- Troubleshoot peripheral equipment and scanners to ensure that equipment is operating properly to avoid downtime or delays that affect patient satisfaction.
- Ensure patient safety with aseptic injection technique and pre-screening for any contra-indications before the procedure.
- Ability to use C-arm when needed
- Handle high-stress environments in a calm manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, and physicians.
Requirements
- Current state of Illinois IEMA Certification
- Current ARRT Certification in both Radiography and MRI
- Able to operate C-arm to perform arthrograms
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working in high-stress environments
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to travel to different facilities as needed
- Ability to work as a team with receptionists, physicians, and clinical staff
- Orthopedic experience preferred
- Available to work Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Available to support in Gurnee and partnered clinics as needed (Float - Gurnee, Libertyville, McHenry)
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
