POSITION SUMMARY
Automation via Integration, this role will understand the Restful API integration between Sunbird Software and other vendors to integrate data between those systems
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
• Integrate customers’ existing software with Sunbird software through REST APIs.
• Integrate customers’ facility management devices, including generators, air conditioners, and other data center infrastructure, with Sunbird DCIM software.
• Develop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code used for integrations, automation, and data processing.
• Develop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, and other API and data-processing libraries.
• Analyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data from external sources into DCIM systems.
• Process and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot API, data, and integration issues throughout implementation.
• Maintain integration and automation code using GitHub source control.
• Work with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Use SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer and system data.
• Use command-line tools in Linux and Windows environments to support integration and troubleshooting activities.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience providing customer support in a technical environment.
• Strong customer-facing project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and API-based system integration.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of JSON data structures and data exchange.
• Working knowledge of GitHub source control and version management.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Introductory knowledge of PowerShell.
• Introductory knowledge of command-line use in Linux and Windows.
• Basic knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Demonstrated basic technical knowledge of: o Computer hardware, including rack servers, PDUs, and cabling. o Windows operating systems. o Microsoft Excel and XLSX/CSV file creation.
• Ability to work flexible hours with the possibility of travel up to 10%.
• Accountability and the ability to adapt, multitask, and manage changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable working with frequently changing priorities and direction.
• Reports to the office daily.
