Job Summary & Responsibilities
This position is aimed at supporting Joint Evaluation Projects for new metrology tools at key customer sites, including introduction of new features and capabilities, advanced troubleshooting and validation of tool performance. The position also requires regular interaction with customers and close coordination with cross-functional teams, including R&D engineering, field service, manufacturing, marketing and application groups.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities as well as a pragmatic, results-oriented focus and possess a reputation for getting new products to the market on time and meeting requirements.
• Master or Ph.D. degree in optical engineering, physics, EE or other relevant disciplines.
• 3-5 years of experience in high precision optical or semiconductor capital instruments, or alternative experience.
• Ability to independently identify and troubleshoot issues which limit tool performance – including both technical and logistical problems
• Ability to understand what limits system performance, and how to overcome those limits.
• Experience using Matlab and JMP is a plus.
• Knowledge in spectroscopy, ellipsometry and reflectometry is a plus.
• Ability to independently design and perform design of experiments related to optical instrumentation.
• Ability to travel internationally (up to 75%).

Compensation & Growth
• Base Salary Range:
$64,499,272.00 - $96,748,907.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
