We’re Hiring: Superintendent – K-12 Construction (SCUC ISD)

  LMC Corporation is seeking an experienced Superintendent to provide on-site leadership for projects under our SCUC ISD contract. This position will oversee daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and project quality on occupied educational facilities.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who can maintain schedules, communicate effectively with school personnel, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and daily reports.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards.
• Monitor workmanship and quality control.
• Coordinate inspections and project closeout activities.
• Manage punch-list completion and final turnover.
• Maintain compliance with district sign-in, visitor, and badging procedures.
• Communicate project status effectively with project management and district personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• Experience managing construction within occupied facilities.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and scheduling.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• K-12 or municipal construction experience.
• Experience working on school campuses or public facilities.
• Familiarity with district operational and security procedures.
