Job Description Summary
The Gas Power Configuration Management (CM) organization is responsible for transforming product requirements as well as engineering design intent into actionable product definition. This product definition includes logical bill of material (BOM) product structure and product features (Marketing/Configuration Features). We also manage project documentation needs, internally and externally and collect and organize the document configuration.Through utilization of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) space, we are able to deliver on-time and quality product definition to supply chain functions globally. Gas Power end customers are also partners and consumers of CM output.
The AI, Innovation, and Process Improvement Leader is a strategic change agent responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and operational excellence. This role will spearhead the digital transformation of our business units, leveraging Artificial Intelligence, automation, and Lean methodologies to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of continuous innovation.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
• Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for integrating AI and automation into core business processes.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks for responsible AI, ensuring data privacy, model integrity, and compliance with corporate security standards.
• Partner with IT and leadership to ensure technology investments align with business objectives and yield measurable ROI.
Operational Excellence
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to map value streams, identify bottlenecks, and simplify complex workflows.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline end-to-end processes, reducing cycle times and operational costs.
• Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the impact of process improvements and provide data-driven reports to executive leadership.
Innovation & Technology Integration
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies, including Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics tools, to automate manual tasks.
• Act as the technical lead for tool development and system integration, ensuring seamless connectivity between front-end engineering systems (e.g., PLM) and back-end business tools (e.g., ERP).
• Foster an innovation-first culture by facilitating hackathons, design thinking workshops, and rapid prototyping of new solutions.
Change Management & Leadership
• Lead and mentor team members, promoting a "Vernova Way" mindset that values curiosity, agility, and continuous improvement.
• Design and execute change management plans to ensure seamless user adoption of new tools and processes.
• Provide regular, high-level briefings to executive stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, or digital transformation, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Deep understanding of PLM/ERP systems and enterprise-grade software architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in AI/Automation implementation and digital tool integration.
- Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, cross-functional teams.
- A self-starting, high-energy professional with a documented history of delivering measurable results.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).
Flexibility: Ability to travel regionally and internationally as required.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
