Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to transform complex business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The role will work closely with business, finance, supply chain, sales, operations, and technology teams to develop dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements from stakeholders.

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.

  • Build data models, KPIs, metrics, and performance scorecards.

  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.

  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

  • Work with data engineering and IT teams to improve data quality and reporting processes.

  • Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps through data analysis.

  • Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, security, and timely delivery of BI reports.

  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and business definitions.

  • Support forecasting, budgeting, workforce, supply chain, sales, and operational analytics.

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BI best practices and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related role.

  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI platforms.

  • Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and performance optimization.

  • Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and dashboard development.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.

  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.

  • Strong understanding of business KPIs and data visualization principles.

  • Ability to convert business requirements into effective analytical solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI DAX, Power Query, and Microsoft Fabric.

  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, SAP, or Workday.

  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.

  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, finance, sales, or renewable energy analytics.

  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and reporting controls.

  • Experience leading BI projects or mentoring team members.
