Licensee Operations Manager

The Licensee Operations Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of North American licensees, driving operational excellence and revenue performance across the network. This is a development role designed for high-performing operations managers seeking to build breadth in licensee relationship management, commercial performance, and cross-functional operational leadership.

What You'll Do: 

• Manage a focused portfolio of North American licensees, serving as the primary operational point of contact
• Manage and improve licensee operational and revenue performance across the assigned portfolio
• Drive growth and market expansion within the portfolio, including onboarding of new licensee operators
• Support the opening and closing of locations across the portfolio, expanding licensee footprint across North America in line with company processes
• Conduct regular calls with licensee partners and undertake periodic on-site visits to maintain strong operational relationships
• Communicate performance trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership on a regular basis
• Work closely with field operations, customer service, and process teams to resolve customer issues and licensee partner requests
• Ensure licensee adherence to customer service standards and company policies
• Monitor customer satisfaction results and work with licensees to address service quality trends
• Support and implement key technology projects across your portfolio
• Support rate setting and vehicle availability management for licensees
• Provide system setup and training support to licensee staff on core rental systems
• Help licensees track and monitor operational performance through standard reporting tools
• Support tracking of vehicle damage claims and related processes
• Provide support on billing and accounting-related licensee queries
• Submit and track technology support requests on behalf of licensees and the internal team
• Manage the department's shared mailbox, ensuring timely routing and resolution of licensee requests
• Maintain and update content on the internal licensee resource site relevant to the portfolio
• As required, perform research on billing, system issues, vendor information, roadside incidents, and vehicle recovery
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For: 

• Proficiency with core rental operations systems (training provided; prior exposure a plus)
• Demonstrated experience in rate setting and vehicle availability management
• Experience using standard operational performance reporting
• Familiarity with damage/claims tracking processes
• Experience with customer satisfaction/NPS monitoring tools
• Experience with system administration or user account setup
• Prior experience within a vehicle rental or franchise/licensee environment preferred
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Tableau and Salesforce a plus
• Strong working knowledge of operational rental platforms
• Relationship & Communication Skills - ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with external partners at all levels
• Performance & Commercial Awareness - revenue-focused mindset, growth orientation, and data-driven decision-making
• Problem Solving - ability to identify operational issues and develop practical, timely solutions
• Organization - strong prioritization and time management across a multi-partner portfolio
