Description
Be part of a friendly, community-focused team serving the residents of Savage! As a Liquor Store Sales Associate, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in finding the right products, and help keep our store clean, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming shopping environment while supporting daily store operations, including stocking and pricing merchandise, processing sales, and performing other duties as assigned.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $17.51 - $18.94/hour | Full 2026 Range: $17.51 - $23.06/hour
Continuously hiring - applications reviewed as received.- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise and provide information regarding products.
- Verify customers' age in accordance with applicable laws and store policies.
- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately.
- Bag merchandise and assist customers with carrying heavy purchases when necessary.
- Monitor the sales floor and take appropriate measures to help prevent shoplifting and loss of merchandise.
- Stock, organize, and price merchandise, ensuring products are properly displayed.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and other housekeeping duties as needed.
- Review and verify receipts and transaction records at the end of assigned shifts, as required.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of product characteristics, prices, promotions, and inventory.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol sales and applicable age-verification laws.
- Knowledge of store policies, procedures, and point-of-sale systems.
- Skill in verbal communication and active listening.
- Skill in customer service and the ability to respond appropriately and professionally to a wide range of customer service situations.
- Ability to anticipate customer's needs and recommend merchandise.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 21 years old.
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Cash-handling or point of sale experience.
- Proficiency in a second language that is commonly spoken in the community.
