Job Description Summary
The Analytics Cloud Platform (ACP) Technical Leader provides specialized technical leadership for engineering analytics within the assigned area of responsibility. ACP brings together engineering and service expertise to support collaborative root cause analysis, identify precursors to failure, assess fleet-wide risk, and validate design and service-related decisions. This role influences the development and prioritization of analytics work to address key engineering and service challenges and improve the quality, reliability, and timeliness of technical outcomes.Success in this role requires deep specialized knowledge, strong operational judgment, and the ability to work across engineering, service, and analytics teams to solve complex technical problems and support business objectives.
Job Description
What You'll Do
- Influence the technical direction and prioritization of ACP analytics within the area of responsibility to support engineering and service objectives
- Translate engineering and business challenges into clear, actionable analytics use cases that improve products, processes, or services
- Apply specialized engineering knowledge to support fleet risk assessment, root cause analysis, design validation, and maintenance or parts-related decisions
- Recommend best practices that improve the effectiveness, quality, and application of analytics solutions
- Use high levels of technical judgment to assess complex issues, evaluate information quality, and provide well-supported recommendations
- Work across engineering, service, and analytics teams to resolve technical problems and align analytics outputs with operational needs
- Lead small-to-medium technical projects or workstreams with manageable resource needs, risk, and complexity
- Communicate difficult technical concepts clearly and influence peers and stakeholders on recommended approaches
- Support continuous improvement of analytics processes, execution, and team effectiveness using Lean principles where appropriate
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field
- 10+ years of engineering experience in Design, Customer Service, or another relevant technical discipline
- Specialized knowledge in areas such as root cause analysis, fleet risk assessment, reliability, design validation, diagnostics, maintenance strategy, or parts planning
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical and business challenges and recommend best practices to improve outcomes
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving capability in complex engineering or operational environments
- Ability to evaluate data quality, ask probing questions, and use multiple sources of information to support decisions
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain difficult concepts and influence peers and cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in power generation, fleet reliability, diagnostics, or engineering analytics
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled analytics and their use in engineering decision-making
- Experience leading small-to-medium technical teams, projects, or workstreams
- Experience applying Lean principles to improve technical or operational execution

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
