Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Analyst provides analysis of pharmacy processes, including analyzing and documenting processes, developing and documenting technical requirements, and participation in pharmacy system planning. Job DescriptionEssential AccountabilitiesReflects the job's main responsibilities and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties performed; therefore, its content does not restrict management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to individuals in this job.o Develops, implements, and maintains systems and procedures to assure continuous quality assurance and regulatory compliance for the department of pharmacy.o Assists in builds and updates the Pharmacy applications per department specifications.o Consults with users to identify, analyze, refine, and document business requirements.o Reviews operational procedures and methods, identifies best practices, and recommends improvements.o Responds to requests and manages basic, short to long-term term projects.o Prepares project scope and plans. Develops, maintains, and manages project schedules. Produces project reports, documentation, and status updates.o Prioritizes workload to ensure deadlines and constancy of projects are within department goals.o Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso Functional, operational, and technical requirements of assigned areas.o Concepts, practices, and procedures for analyzing  pharmacy business.o Concepts of problem, change, project, and workflow management.o Knowledge of computer applications used by CMC.o Awareness of activities of the department, division or function supported, and where it fits within the organization.o Excellent oral and written communication skills.o Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.o Ability to plan and lead projects, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.o Ability to develop functional requirements, process flows, and systems designs to solve business issues.o Prepare reports, summaries, surveys, and written recommendations using appropriate formats and styles.o Speak clearly and present factual information to customers, clients, and other associates.o Research and answer questions.

Qualifications

Educationo Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare or related field requiredo High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate AND 4 years of related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree requirement Experienceo 4  years of experience in pharmacy operations and/or analytical/technical experience with business systems preferredo Experience participating on a project team and setting up project plan preferred Licenses and Certificationso RXTECH - State of California Pharmacy Technician License preferred
