Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Site Patrol in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. You will deliver exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and data infrastructure location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
