Advantage Point Group is seeking a full-time senior level estimator with General Contractor experience.

Unlike traditional contractor estimating roles that revolve around hard bids and compressed deadlines, this position provides independent, in-house estimating services directly to project owners. Your work will help clients develop capital expenditure budgets, validate construction costs, and make informed investment decisions throughout the design process.
This is an ideal role for an experienced estimator who enjoys collaborating with owners, architects, and engineers to develop realistic construction budgets and schedules from concept through completion.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities will include producing Schematic Development, Design Development and Construction Document estimates for a wide range of project types and sizes. Project types include office, manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, cleanrooms, renovations, remodels and new construction. Project values range from $100,000 to $100 million.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- 10+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction costs, methods, and sequencing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the design and estimating process.
- Proficiency with:
- SAGE Estimating
- Microsoft Excel
- Astra Scheduling
- BidScreen XL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Experience developing and maintaining construction schedules.
- Ability to prepare realistic project schedules that support owner planning requirements, including facility shutdowns, phased construction, and operational downtime.
- Experience with manufacturing, laboratory, or mission-critical facility projects.
- Focus on developing accurate budgets rather than chasing low bids.
- Work directly with owners and become a trusted advisor.
- Participate early in the design process where your expertise influences project decisions.
- Enjoy a collaborative environment with realistic timelines and expectations.
- Work on a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects.
- Apply your technical expertise to help shape projects from concept through construction.
- $45 to $63 per hour ($95,000 to $130,000)
- Time and a half paid over 40 hours per week
