As a Banquet Server, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, from elegant banquets to lively catering events. Banquet Staff to accomplish the following:
- Review Banquet Event Orders for menu details, room/event set-up diagrams; plus food, beverage and audio-visual needs.
- Event set-ups & breakdowns: buffets, tables, chairs, plate sets, bar, AV equipment, garbage, clean-up, etc.
- Ensuring quality presentation & serving of food.
- Prepare and serve beverages.
- Efficiently and properly uphold service & etiquette standards.
- Adhere to all liquor liability laws (ID checking, training, etc.).
- Maintain communication with the kitchen for updates.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Professionalism in all aspects of service.
- Professional appearance & uniform: All black shirt (provided), apron (provided), pants & non-slip shoes.
- Ability to carry trays, maneuver up to 50lbs and hustle on your feet for extended periods.
- Prior experience with large banquet or catering events
- Must be 21 years of age to serve and bartend.
