Machining Specialist (m/f/d) – Turning, Milling, Grinding, and CNC Machining

Position: Machining Specialist (m/f/d) – Turning, Milling, Grinding, and CNC Machining

Location: Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

Lathe Operators: 1 position for tube production / 1 position for manual turning:

• Operating and setting up conventional lathes / setting up CNC machining centers
• Determining and defining the parameters for machining workpieces
• Loading and unloading machines, using lifting equipment if necessary, and monitoring the work process
• Performing minor maintenance tasks
• Ensuring quality by checking the dimensional accuracy, condition, and completeness of workpieces; performing rework as needed
• Knowledge of CNC machine controls, e.g., Siemens and Heidenhain
  Milling Machine Operator:
• Determining and defining the parameters for CNC milling of workpieces
• Entering data and simulating the manufacturing process on the machine
• Independently preparing, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines
• Selecting and calibrating tools; entering correction values
• Loading and unloading the machines
• Monitoring the manufacturing process and performing tool changes
• Performing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Quality control of workpieces (dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and completeness); performing rework as needed
  Metal Finisher:
• Machining of provided workpieces according to drawings (e.g.,deburring, chamfering, and rounding edges).
• Finishing of threads and fits according to work instructions or drawings.
• Preparing large parts for shipment, preserving them, and cleaning them.
• Changing tools
• Inspecting simple parts
• Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks
  Grinder:
• Independently preparing, setting up, and operating grinding and coordinate grinding machines
• Implementing and optimizing CNC programs
• Determining and defining the parameters for machining workpieces
• Managing data, creating data carriers, and simulating the manufacturing process
• Machining (small) series and workpieces
• Loading and unloading machines and monitoring the workflow
• Performing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Inspecting workpieces (dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and completeness)

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as: (m/f/d)
  Industrial Mechanic
  Machining Technician
  CNC Milling/Turning Operator
  Precision Mechanic/Toolmaker or related professions
• Experience operating (setting up) machines
• Ideally, several years of professional experience
• Conscientious and confident in reading technical drawings and applying conventional measurement techniques
• Willingness to work multiple shifts
• Fluency in German
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and a strong commitment to quality
• Quick learner
• Structured approach to work / ability to work independently
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
• Clean criminal record
• Compliance with the list of countries
