ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

BPT work independently to resolve key logistic issues across multiple locations and teams. Support the Senior Logistic Supervisor and BPT fill this position during periods of absence. Manage, Mentor, Coach the CTC-LIS Team in all aspects of In-Barracks and Field Governance, associated with equipment preparedness and readiness, building and enhancing internal/external relationships IOT deliver positive outcomes. Maintain the preparedness of the CTC-LIS systems through SME knowledge of LMIS & CRST processes. Assess/Resolve logistic issues through informed decision making and clear communication. Lead logistic and sustainment problem solving, through analysis and evaluation IOT develop positive outcomes and resolve logistic issues across multiple teams. Manage and coordinate repair and governance support, across all lines of equipment remediation, conducted by the program including ERAs and receipts and dispatching of equipment and sparing. Supervise and manage equipment allocated to the logistic team (vehicles and generators including servicing). Ensure Team Leaders are accountable for accurate inventory management and accountability. In conjunction with the Exercise Manager develop and maintain the CRST support plan to enable ISB/RISB. Manage and document asset disposal as per contractual requirements.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be experienced and suitably qualified in conducting and managing Governance activities and processes in a Barracks and field environment.
  • Understands logistic processes and systems IOT maintain inventory management and excellent governance practices.
  • Ability to plan and schedule equipment management activities (audits/stocktaking/Investigations).
  • Ability to lead/operate in a small team environment.
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel and Word.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics/governance/equipment management. Proven ability to operate and manage small teams. Proven communicator with excellent verbal skills. Excellent understanding of Word/Excel/Ability to learn new programs. Qualified Heavy Truck License or willingness to undertake training to become a competent Heavy vehicle licensee. Qualified Forklift license holder. Clean driving license holder. BPT undertake professional development in logistics/logistic management.
