Job Description:

What You’ll Do: 

• Patient Scheduling: Schedule new patient consults, follow-up appointments, and ancillary tests with accuracy and efficiency using computerized scheduling programs. 

• Urgent Scheduling: Respond quickly to urgent scheduling requests, coordinating with providers and departments. 

• Customer Service Excellence: Create a welcoming and supportive experience for patients, ensuring they feel valued and informed. 

• Collaborative Support: Work closely with the clinical team to support department needs and optimize patient care. 

• Insurance Authorization & Intake: Update and enter insurance authorizations and pre-authorizations as necessary for all scheduled encounters. 

• Patient Communication: Provide necessary pre-procedure instructions, confirm appointments, and intake demographics and insurance information.  

What We’re Looking For: 

• Experience: 2+ years in a medical office setting preferred, with knowledge of scheduling, medical terminology, and workflows. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and communication. 

• Organizational Strength: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. 

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues. 

• Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance processes and authorizations is a plus. 

Compensation Information:

$20.00 - $35.28

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
