Description
RedSeal, a pioneer in proactive exposure management and winner of the SC Award for Best CTEM Solution, helps organizations see, understand, and secure their hybrid digital environments across IT (on-prem, cloud, and remote workers), OT, and IoT. By dynamically modeling the entire environment, RedSeal uncovers hidden assets, misconfigurations, and lateral attack paths, prioritizes exposures based on business-critical impact with Risk Radius™, and continuously validates compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Trusted by hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and more than 75 U.S. government agencies, including all five branches of the U.S. military, RedSeal strengthens resilience, streamlines operations, and reduces business risk. Why This Role Exists
RedSeal's platform models complex hybrid networks and turns security data into decisions; but customers only realize that value once the platform has been deployed, integrated with their environment, and their teams know how to run it. This role exists to help make that happen. Working alongside senior engineers, you will support RedSeal implementations, build the technical foundation to lead engagements independently, and help customer teams get comfortable operating the platform. The Opportunity: Build Your Delivery Skills on Real Customer Engagements
Join our Professional Services team as a Professional Services Engineer and get hands-on experience deploying and supporting RedSeal for enterprise and federal clients. You'll work closely with senior engineers on live implementations, developing the technical and customer-facing skills to take on larger engagements over time.Support Customer Implementations
- Assist with RedSeal deployments for enterprise and federal clients, taking ownership of defined tasks and components within a broader implementation plan
- Help configure and integrate RedSeal with client tool stacks, including Splunk, Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, and other SIEM/ITSM platforms, under the guidance of senior engineers
- Support deployment and tuning of RedSeal across hybrid IT, cloud, OT, and IoT environments
Support Training & Enablement
- Help deliver standard training sessions so client teams can operate RedSeal with confidence
- Document implementation steps and workflows so training and support stay repeatable across engagements
- Assist in building dashboards, reports, and workflows tailored to client compliance and operational needs
Technical Delivery
- Learn to develop automation scripts (Python/API) that streamline client workflows and reduce manual effort
- Help translate customer objectives into practical tasks within the delivery plan
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during implementation and onboarding, escalating complex cases to senior engineers
Customer Success
- Support client success after implementation and help flag opportunities for platform expansion
- Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and senior engineers throughout each engagement
- Communicate status clearly and escalate early when issues arise
Must-Have Skills
- 1–2 years minimum in network/security engineering, IT support, or a related technical role (internships and academic lab experience count)
- Foundational networking knowledge: routing/switching basics, firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs — comfortable learning IPsec, BGP/OSPF, and MPLS on the job
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and an interest in learning SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
- Willingness to learn automation fundamentals (Python, JSON/YAML) to support reporting and workflow tasks
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to customers alongside a senior engineer
- A learning mindset and comfort working directly with customers in a technical, fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Certifications: Network+, Security+, CCNA, or AWS/Azure Fundamentals
- Exposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell, or bash)
- Coursework or exposure to compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001
- Interest in AI-powered security tools, automated analysis, or machine learning applications
Responsibilities (Day to Day)
- Execute assigned tasks within the implementation plan under the guidance of a senior engineer
- Help deliver training and document work so it is repeatable across engagements
- Flag opportunities — new data sources, use cases, or automation — that could remove customer busywork
- Communicate status clearly and escalate early
