Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
