Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Branch Manager to keep daily operations running seamlessly across teller, member service, and lending functions
- Be the go-to expert—answering everything from quick questions to more complex scenarios around products, policies, and regulations
- Oversee cash operations, including vault balancing, cash ordering, and decision-making around member transactions and funds availability
- Jump in when needed—serving as a teller or vault teller and handling all related duties with confidence
- Drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and connecting members with the right financial solutions
- Help the branch hit (and exceed) goals for loans, new accounts, and referrals
- Open new accounts and guide members through important financial decisions
- Detect and prevent fraudulent activity—protecting both members and the credit union
- Review and explain credit reports in a clear, helpful way
- Originate, process, and close loans from start to finish
- Coach and develop team members—building their technical skills, sales confidence, and people skills
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a financial institution
- 1+ year of cash handling experience
- A genuine passion for helping both members and your team succeed
