Join Pitney Bowes as a Senior Advisory Software Engineer
Years of experience: 5+ years
Job Location - Noida
Role: Third Party(9 months-1 year)
Mode: Hybrid(3 days/week)
Impact
We are looking for a Java engineer to develop and debug java code to meet functional requirements.
The engineer responsibilities include designing system, debugging code, implement unit tests to meet functional product requirements. You will also review functional requirements, discuss with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve any production issues.
The Job
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. QA and product managers) to identify system requirements
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Track bugs raised by QA team and fix them.
Required Qualifications & Skills
This role requires a talented self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills:
Must to have
Proven work experience in software development
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing code as per requirement.
Hands-on experience with writing good unit tests.
Hands-on experience on Java, Springboot and Apache Camel is a must.
Experience on AWS will be added advantage.
Good to have knowledge of PostgresSQL.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
