Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Warehouse & Inventory Operations Lead at Stanford Healthcare Center in the Redwood City. This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and oversight of a shared warehouse supporting multiple Stanford Health Care operational departments, including Medical Equipment, AOI/MAC, Exterior Management, and Site Support Services. This role will serve as the primary onsite lead for warehouse organization, receiving, storage, inventory tracking, item movement, space utilization, and operational coordination. The role is intended to be broad in scope and will support the launch and ongoing operation of a shared warehouse model. The Warehouse & Inventory Operations Lead will help maintain clear inventory records, support department-specific storage needs, coordinate access and movement of materials, and ensure the warehouse remains organized, safe, efficient, and aligned with agreed governance standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, staging, relocation, release, and organization of materials supporting multiple Stanford Health Care departments.• Maintain designated storage zones and ensure safe, efficient warehouse flow across staging areas, aisles, access paths, and loading/unloading locations.• Manage inventory records using warehouse tracking systems, ensuring accurate documentation of item location, quantity, status, ownership, and storage history.• Conduct routine inventory audits and reconciliations, identify discrepancies, aging or unassigned inventory, and escalate issues as needed.• Support inbound and outbound logistics, including delivery verification, storage assignment, item release, and maintenance of all associated documentation.• Apply and uphold warehouse standards related to labeling, tracking, storage duration, access controls, and inventory governance.• Serve as the primary warehouse point of contact for participating departments, vendors, and internal support teams, coordinating inventory movement and resolving operational issues.• Coordinate with Medical Equipment, AOI/MAC, Exterior Management, Site Support Services, vendors, movers, and internal support teams as needed.• Communicate inventory status, space utilization, warehouse readiness, and operational concerns to stakeholders and management.• Prepare reports on inventory levels, warehouse utilization, intake and release activity, aging inventory, and outstanding issues.• Identify and support process improvements related to warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and standard operating procedures, including future enhancements to inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, facilities support, inventory control, supply chain, or related work.• Ability to coordinate operations in a shared storage environment with multiple stakeholder groups.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to maintain accurate records using a warehouse inventory database or other inventory tracking tools and programs.• Ability to safely move, stage, organize, and track materials in a warehouse setting.• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with managers, department leads, vendors, and operational teams.• Ability to identify and escalate safety, space, inventory, or ownership concerns.• Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision.• Experience in healthcare, hospital, construction support, facilities, logistics, or regulated operational environment.• Experience with shared storage, inventory databases, receiving processes, palletized storage, racking, or material movement.• Experience working with contractors, vendors, movers, or cross-functional operational teams.• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Excel, Teams, or similar collaboration and inventory tracking tools.• Forklift or powered industrial equipment certification, if required by site operations and EMCOR policy.• Understanding basic warehouse safety practices, labeling, space planning, and inventory control.
Physical Demands
• Fulltime, onsite warehouse-based role requiring frequent walking, standing, lifting, staging, organizing, and movement of materials.• Must be able to regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and lift/carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and move items exceeding 100 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.• Follow all workplace safety policies, warehouse safety standards, and site access requirements. Monitor warehouse conditions, including housekeeping, aisle clearance, storage practices, and equipment safety; report and escalate unsafe conditions or compliance concerns.• Coordinate equipment needs such as pallet jacks, forklifts, shelving, carts, ladders, PPE, and signage as required.• May require operation of warehouse equipment based on training, certification, operational needs, and EMCOR/Stanford Health Care requirements.• Regular interaction with delivery drivers, vendors, movers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.• Position supports a shared warehouse environment with changing priorities, multiple department stakeholders, and evolving governance standards.• May require travel by company or government vehicle to work locations or other destinations as needed.
