CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver – Good Pay + $5K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn approximately $75,000 per year hauling live chickens from area farms to a processing facility. This dedicated local position offers daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a $5,000 bonus.

Job Details

• Pick up and deliver live chickens from poultry farms to the processing facility.
• Operate a flatbed trailer carrying chicken cages.
• Complete an average of approximately 3 inbound loads per day.
• Secure chicken cages to the flatbed using a cheater bar.
• Navigate challenging farm conditions, including grades, bumps, and ditches.
• Live haul experience is preferred but not required.

Shift Details

• Monday–Friday
• Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
• Required to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
• Home daily
• Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day off

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• No SAP drivers
• Ability to secure chicken cages and safely handle a cheater bar
• Ability to operate safely on uneven farm roads and challenging terrain
• Live haul experience preferred, but not required
